Presentation choices

The work-library cover graphics are newly designed summaries adapted from the reviewed sources. They are not represented as historical slides. Source notes identify the original work and distinguish the contribution, proposal and review status.

Original physical preceptor guide record

The physical teaching guide is retained in the private source archive.

Clinical reference review

The IV visuals and quick reference need clinical and local source review before they are released as operational references. In particular, the draft pathway must distinguish infiltration from extravasation and use the appropriate agent-specific guidance. As one relevant comparison, Cancer Institute NSW’s eviQ extravasation guidance for anti-cancer therapies and contrast media describes retaining the access device initially and planning drug-specific management. That scope should not be generalized into a universal algorithm for all IV problems.

The website demonstrates the design approach without republishing the unreviewed action pathways. The proprietary Hester-Davis scoring scale and employer-specific materials are not offered as independent products.

Search scope

The review combined the new local attachments, the previously reviewed portfolio collection and targeted searches of saved portfolio, clinical-teaching, caregiver, wellness and AI resources. Four additional saved files were read. This is a relevant-source review, not an assertion that every file in the account was exhaustively inspected. Unrelated family, employment-case and personal records were excluded from the professional website.
