How I teach

Education works
when people
feel supported.

My work starts with a practical question: what does this person need to understand, practice, or feel ready to do next?

Put the approach into practice
01

Start with the learner.

Listen, identify the starting point, and make the next step clear.

02

Make the complex usable.

Translate expectations into organized guides, visual tools, and relevant examples.

03

Practice, then teach it back.

Connect learning to experience through demonstration, conversation, and reflection.

04

Close the loop.

Check in, offer specific feedback, and adjust the support as learning needs change.

Human insight + collaborative AI

My clinical perspective.
A broader creative toolkit.

I bring the practice context and learning purpose. AI supports drafting, organization, design exploration, and interactive prototypes. Review and refinement remain part of the work.

01 / MY CONTRIBUTION

Define what matters.

Clinical context, the learner’s needs, the source material, and the practical problem the resource should address.

02 / AI COLLABORATION

Explore and build.

Structure options, draft language, visual organization, and implementation of teaching demonstrations like the tools on this site.

03 / REVIEW & REFINEMENT

Question the draft.

Review source alignment, wording, attribution, usability, and what still needs clinical or organizational validation.

Start with the signal: an audit, observation, staff question, policy change, or assigned review.

    ONE CLEAR NEXT STEP

    Hello, I’m Angie.

    Nurse by profession.
    Educator at heart.

I’m Angela Brown, RN, BSN, MEDSURG-BC. My experience brings together bedside nursing, clinical education, precepting, shared governance, and quality improvement. I enjoy making a learning need visible—and building a practical way to address it.

As adjunct clinical faculty for Piedmont University, I taught first-semester nursing cohorts in Athens and Habersham beginning in 2020, continuing for two more years. That experience continues to shape how I approach teaching: meet the learner where they are and build from there.

I enjoy creating the resource that makes someone say, “Now that makes sense.” From an orientation calendar to a visual quick guide, I care about tools people can actually use.
